Case Study:  Waukesha Electric Systems 

 

 

 

WCEDC proudly served Waukesha Electric Systems as a valued expansion project resource - connecting them to State and local incentives, such as:

  • City of Waukesha Tax Incremental Finance District
  • Waukesha County Revolving Loan Fund
  • WCTC customized training programs
  • Waukesha County Workforce Development Center’s Specialized Recruitment Services
  • Site assistance for relocating a neighboring business to make room for the expansion.

The projected job growth from this project is 210 high-wage jobs within three years.
The next phase of that project presents additional growth opportunities: connecting local companies as part of the Waukesha Electric supply chain for leveraging Waukesha Electric’s initial $70MM investment into additional job retention and creation in Waukesha County.
