The County boasts access to some of the finest educational institutions in the nation, exceptional high school graduation rates (as of 2009, approximately 95% of residents had a high school degree or higher, well above the national and state average) and outstanding ACT scores.

Opportunities for continuing education are available throughout the County: three colleges/universities (Carroll University, UW-Waukesha and Ottawa University)
